BEST WESTERN DALHOUSIE
The concept was to provide an interactive and lively interface between nature and built. The hotel comprises of 30 rooms and two restaurants. Each room has been placed in a manner to capture the valley from dusk till dawn. The placement of building down the contours and the wide windows together generate a wonderful live art which can be experienced from all the corners of the room. The facade has been kept brutal to maintain the honesty of the skin. Ashlar stone masonry floor at the base is sort of nurturing the other floors towards the apex. A sudden 60 feet drop below the ground makes the building look more majestic.
